Latest polls indaicate that the Congress has a 3% positive approval rating on handling the war in Iraq.
That would be a Democratic Congress.
Polls, they tell us so much.

Posted by Steve Soto at August 3, 2007 04:56 PMCan you imagine what it would look like if the progressive caucus told the dems to go get f'cked?
With a big enough margin they could do it.
Oh happy happy dream....
Posted by PwapVt at August 3, 2007 05:08 PMThank you Steve for finally outlining it so the simplest form of Neo-(anderthal)-con can understand.
Peter, jj you listening, we know bags finally heard it.
How's the pool, and how are you, Seven?
Posted by tempus at August 3, 2007 05:56 PMSteve, one thing the Dem's cannot do is get cocky. Always respect public opinion, and don't take it for granted.
And I watched on Frontline (via ADSL) that the federal Justice building is named after RFK. He would be sick. He wouldn't recognize it.
Posted by tempus at August 3, 2007 06:37 PMNo matter what shit comes out, what crap turns up; the Kennedys, for all of their faults, come out as fucking KINGS! Bobby was King the first, but JF fucking K, was God! He was murdered because he realized what he was up against in Washington, and fired all of the fucks in the CIA and they whacked him!!!
Bush's CIA! Can you tell I'm emotional? Poor RFK, does anybody remember how SHOCKED and SCANDALIZED when JFK committed nepotism and appointed RFK AG? Ooooooooh! God, let's hope Bush could ever FUCKING dream of such a legacy!
Impeach the bastard, impeach all of Washington, DC!
Here in Minnesota, I spoke to some pretty laid back Garrison Lake Woebegon types about the bridge collapse and many said they were AMAZED at the press coverage.
Hey, it's subterfuge man....c'mon. Ooooooh, Bush is coming to Minneapolis tomorrow! Oooooh! I need a drink and I need to get laid.
Posted by Mal Feasance at August 3, 2007 07:28 PMTell me about it when the Dems aren't also falling over themselves as fast as the Repugs to do what AIPAC and AEI tell them what to do.
Dems: Just the kinder face of treason.
Shoot, if Nancy only had those extra seats now. She could pass Bush's FISA changes in double time.
Posted by space at August 3, 2007 08:38 PMMal: you're right. JFK was God. And I'm not even American. I was just so pissed off that RFK didn't have a chance...And, to make things worse, Siran B. Siran did not shoot him. He was shot by a .38 caliber (police issue) weapon, from about 5 feet. Not the .22 that Siran was carrying, and he never got closer than 12 feet to RFK. A chef jumped on him over a counter. The cover-ups apparently never end.
Posted by tempus at August 3, 2007 08:55 PMWell, if Friday's vote is any indication, Nancy might not do a damned thing differently.
Posted by 714Day at August 4, 2007 12:21 AM"The cover-ups apparently never end."
Tempus, cover-ups never end because they can get by with it. Anyone who believes that Oswald and Siran killed two of the most prominent political figures in this Country, is, in plain language, stupid.
Latest polls indaicate that the Congress has a 3% positive approval rating on handling the war in Iraq.
Yep, because Congress won't end the war.
Posted by ann at August 4, 2007 06:27 AMAnn, you are right, and that is the only reason. If they ended this Occupation tomorrow, their numbers would climb rapidly.
Posted by Judith at August 4, 2007 06:51 AMBush's CIA! Can you tell I'm emotional?
No, just goofy.
Posted by at August 4, 2007 09:42 AMWhy do Pelosi and Reid not stop the funding for the war? Are they interested in the oil as well? Something is very wrong here.
