Comments: Domestic Spying Lawsuit Against AT&T Moves Forward

"the Supremes overruling the Ninth Circuit by validating that Bush is King, thereby rendering the Constitution moot and the separation of powers dead." That's pretty much the Rove game plan, isn't it?

That has been the Republican game plan since Reagan. Control the Supreme Court, control everything.

It got them the White House in 2000, no?

To the Democrats who refused to filibuster right-wing nominees: damn you, damn you all to hell.

The only thing stopping this case from going to trial now would be the Supremes overruling the Ninth Circuit by validating that Bush is King, thereby rendering the Constitution moot and the separation of powers dead.

Damn, now you spoiled the surprise for me!

Er, Steve - the linked article says they appeared to favor allowing the case to go forward - unless I read it totally wrong, the panel has issued no ruling yet - perhaps they did and you linked to the former article about the hearing????

Well, if it gets to the Supremes and they allow the Bush is King doctrine to stand, at least we will all know wtf is going on and there will no longer be any room fro stradlers and fence sitters. In times of great moral crisis, the worst that one can do is sit on the fence...
