Just like Pontiac's with their wide track, stability, huh Denis.

Great to see Senator Tim Johnson again. Will be very happy to see him back at work next week. What a great recovery he's had, with a lot of support.

Or maybe baseball players at the batters box, or football players at the line, or even basketball players at the free throw line, yeah wide stance does seem to identify Republicans well.

Study: US preparing 'massive' military attack against Iran

http://rawstory.com//news/2007/Study_US_preparing_massive_military_attack_0828.html

The United States has the capacity for and may be prepared to launch without warning a massive assault on Iranian uranium enrichment facilities, as well as government buildings and infrastructure, using long-range bombers and missiles, according to a new analysis.

Oh well. If Bush doesn't get to enjoy this latest example of American military adventurism, I'm sure Hillary will be riding atop the first tank that crosses into Tehran, tossing rose petals at the adoring, appreciative Iranians.

no pants pissing peter, sucking dick in a men's room or wearing diapers at a house of prostitution identifies the modern Republican

Posted by Gay Veteran at August 29, 2007 05:18 AM

the WSJ article should have been titled "There Is Only One King"

Ah, the compassion of tolerant liberals. How strange you take such delight in keeping the myths going. Your intolerance is showing here. To some degree this man seemed to need to be depraved, denigrated and y'all are very obliging to act like a Republican and do so. Thanks for joining with them here, for putting down the gay/lesbian lifechoice.

How Republican of you.

"or in a men's room stall"

LOL - good one Dennis

I don't know about anyone else, but I always touch the foot of the person in the next stall. Of course, I have to sit on the floor to do it.

Don't. Feed. The. Trolls.

exactly judith..it just doesn't happen..it's why craigs excuse is so hollow...wide stance republicans..i like it

Posted by dennis at August 29, 2007 06:14 AM

Peter, in short, the guy is a hypocrite whose homophobia is a form of self-loathing, whether he understands that or not. It is his self-loathing that leads to his depravity in terms of his "stance" on gays/lesbians. This is about a hypocrite, not about putting people down for their "life choices." Do you get it now?

the man plead guilty..in the hopes that it would just go away..it didn't ..not this time...

Here's what Scott Reed, a Republican strategist had to say yesterday:

“The real question for Republicans in Washington is how low can you go, because we are approaching a level of ridiculousness. You can’t make this stuff up. And the impact this is having on the grass-roots around the country is devastating. Republicans think the governing class in Washington are a bunch of buffoons who have total disregard for the principles of the party, the law of the land and the future of the country.”

yeah wide stance does seem to identify Republicans well.

Uh huh, just like a drunk pulled over by a cop, trying to walk a straight line without falling over. Or maybe, since he was a hunting buddy of Cheney's, like a drunk hunter just before shooting a pal in the face. Yep, them "wide-stance" Republicans!

Posted by iamcoyote at August 29, 2007 07:15 AM

yes,yes---'low you can go'. Ha Ha.

There is a clip of Barney Frank laying waste to Republican hypocracy on this very issue when he appeared on the Bill Maher (sp) show. Jason Alexander is sitting between him and a Republican defender of faith. Frank offers the kind of rebuke that needs to be delivered loud and long on every talking head show that is dedicated to the rehabilitation of Sen Craig.

When I hear the phrase 'wide stance" , I will suppress a laugh from now on. Before now, I thought of the police-military stance assumed when aiming and firing a hand-gun. That sort still applies I guess.

Posted by gtash at August 29, 2007 07:17 AM

"Whats going on with the WSJ" - Rupert Murdoch bought it, thats what.
