Comments: Faith and Hillary, Part Two

I'm starting to read lots of interviews with disgruntled GOPer rank and file....they are really disgusted with their party....but always end the conversation saying "I'd never vote for Hillary Clinton". Too bad the Dems couldn't come up with someone that could bridge what now seems to be a very bridgeable gap.

Her faith is her business, and my athiesm is mine.

As long as Clinton continues to demonstrate her ability to separate church and state issues by advocating for fact- and science-based policies, such as stem cell research, and dropping the military ban on gays, who she prays with is none of my business.

That's our saving grace T2. Tha "ace in the hole" of the 2008 vote. HC's negatives are our positives.

Talking about invoking the "Lord" for worldly purposes...

“Iowa, for good reason, for constitutional reasons, for reasons related to the Lord should be the first caucus and primary,” Richardson, New Mexico’s governor said at the Northwest Iowa Labor Council Picnic. “And I want you to know who was the first candidate to sign a pledge not to campaign anywhere if they got ahead of Iowa. It was Bill Richardson.”

"Constitutional reasons"???? Say what?

I wrote about this story a few weeks ago after reading it in my copy of MoJo and it was the final straw for me, regarding HRC. She's a Republican in Democrat's clothing and she is going to compromise so much that she'll be a watered-down version of Bush. That's not what this country needs.

JoeCHI - she'll give you stem cell research. Her little finger in the wind tells her that that's a winner with the majority. Even red state MO is behind it for god's sake.

Separation of church and state? Why do I seem to recall more photo-ops of Bill clutching his Bible than I do of GWB?

As for gays in the military, ain't gonna happen unless the winds blowing in that direction get a lot stronger. She's a follower, not a leader. And if following the fundies off the cliff moves her back in the WH, that's what she'll do.

Wake up and smell the coffee, dude.

"Heart patients to get valves grown from their cells
By DAVID DERBYSHIRE

Cardiac patients will soon be able to 'grow their own' heart valves and have them transplanted within weeks of seeing a doctor.

The groundbreaking treatment, developed by British surgeons, will create heart tissue from stem cells from the patient's body.

The technique offers hope to millions who suffer heart disease."

This is where we should be spending stem cell money on. Adult stem cells are showing results all over the world. Embryonic is a crap shoot. No rejection factor, just good positve results.

HC's negatives are our positives.

And so what are those negatives that magically become your positives?

Have you looked at the republi-con field? You clowns are going to be running a mormon and cross-dresser in a party composed of pervs for shit's sake. What the hell kind of negatives have you got to have to make it a positive for your group of knuckle-dragging boy-pandering prostitute-loving wife beating miscreants? jesus christ you morons are a special breed of incredulous r-tards.

Oh just great! Now you're a stem cell expert. So I'm sure you can wax poetic about S. Korea and their advances. Maybe you can expound eloquently on the Israelis growing a heart from embryonic stem cells? One hopes you can extemporize on how these advances didn't arise in America: Be sure to include republi-con meddling and your own support for ending the research agendas of American stem cell researchers.

now pants pissing peter is an expert in heart disease

hmmmmm, wonder if they can use adult stem cells to grow peter a brain?

btw, Bush = Caligua
