Comments: Make McCain Sell It

Gay Veteran pounding his head against wall: Jesus fu*king Christ, don't you people get it yet?!?!?!? The Democrats will NOT end the war.

Of course Bin Laden looks young and well rested.

He dies his beard with "Just For Madmen", and has the best Jihad partners in the world, shooter and the chimp to do his job for him.

Oh, and have I ever mentioned that I have lived in Arizona for 25 years and can't stand the sight of McLame? The picture made me queezy.

All I know is, Riverbend and her family finally had to flee their home in Baghdad for Syria. I'm just glad she's safe. But her description of leaving one's home...

goddammit, even if it takes me down too, please god, destroy this CheneyReich. ASAP. and this whole sick, bloodthirsty, narcissistic, inhuman, shortsighted, greedy, lizardbrain-propaganda-driven political culture that allowed these monsters to seize power. every single member of congress except kucinich makes me physically ILL.

Every fucking one of these bastards should be forced to leave their own home, with their clothes and belongings in a single box. FUCK REID, PELOSI, ALL THIS POLITICAL HORSETRADING. Because they're all fucking SCARED of FOX NEWS and WOLF THE FUCK BLITZER AND RUSH FUCKING LIMBA FOR GODSAKE, STILL.

It makes me fucking SICK.

Pardon my french and my screaming.

"The Democrats will NOT end the war."

Well, something we can agree on.

Nancy and Harry, fresh off their month-long summer vacation, have returned to Washington and already, they're screeching about reaching across the aisle to Repukes to end the Iraq war. The timid Dems, terrified of being labeled "soft on national security" have no intention of even trying to end the war. If Hillary is elected president, she won't end the war.

George Bush has played the Dems like a hooker plays a john.

No one is going to end the War. Can we move on now? We will be talking about this ten years from now, just like Health Care.

More dry wells, but it keeps Democrats busy.

Four years and they have to start all over on building an Iraqi police force. Would make one think that none existed before we got there.

Another 12-18 months. Six to six and a half years to pacifiy a country that one had a population of 24 million. Wonder how those guys back in WWII got in done in two theaters of operation (okay, the USSR did half he heavy lifting in one of them) in less than four years. McCain is nuts and making that a campaign issue in the 2000 primary was probably the only honest thing Rove ever did.

Uhhhhhh...Cindy Sheehan is running against Madam Sparkle Pelosi. Slip her a C-note and send Pelosi a note telling her you're supporting the opposition. The lobbys cannot vote for Pelosi.

$50 billion to help Iraq's infrastructure. I say they first find the $12 billion they misplaced under Bremer, then maybe we can talk about the balance.

Posted by gtash at September 6, 2007 11:13 PM

Speaker Botox is very unpopular in her district as voters increasingly see her as ineffective and too damned deferring to Bush. If the rumor is true that George Soros will bankroll Cindy Sheehan's campaign, then Pelosi is in trouble.

Oh, and that photo should be juxtaposed with Ike's famous "beware the military industrial complex" quote. McCain looks lost, dwarfed, and eaten alive by the MIC and its big pretty maps. As is our nation, finally.

McOld couldn't sell electricity in Bagdahd.

At this point, BushAmerica will have to experience its Gotterdammerung before any "progress" is possible. Ruinously costly military overstretch WILL result in severe macroeconomic economic effects, there have been no historical exceptions.

Our "moral" Gotterdammerung is already upon us---we are nothing but a brutally aggressive, resource-grabbing, ultra-nationalist, militarist power at this point. Might Makes Right. The Right's (short term) motto for the New American Century.

Iraq is a thoroughly botched occupation that our elites apparently will not clean up because they understand that it obviously was done for oil and, because we have no conceivable energy options or plan, they are unwilling to cut the foolish and immoral losses incurred for "our" oil.

The "opposition" party cannot even bring itself to publically argue that Cheney invaded Iraq to "liberate" its oil, despite the fact that almost every non-American citizen on Earth knows this.

Our system of government is fatally broken, and we are all just watching it grind into its inevitable complete breakdown at this point. Cheers.

pants pissing peter: More dry wells, but it keeps Democrats busy.

WTF? more and more American soliders die each day in Iraq and you're trying to be cute?!?!?!?

What sharkbabe said. Doubled.

My only question is which one of these evil sons of bitches is going to end up in a suicide bunker with Eva Braun... because it sure looks like that's where this country is headed.
