Comments: Bush-Style Democracy

With George Bush and his cabal, every relationship is one of convenience. They have no real interest in "spreading democracy". Their interests only go as far as what benefits financially those in their circles of influence and what needs to be done to give ever increasing power to those who can extend those benefits to them in perpetuity.

"Spreading democracy" is nothing but a craven marketing tool they can use to convince and assuage the masses while they work behind the scenes to create their utopian empire. All they need is a compliant media; which they have had since 9/11, and a complacent public; which is only now beginning to realize that maybe the emperor has no clothes. It is just now becoming apparent to most Americans that this administration is racing against time to complete the trick before reality and the law catches up with them.

Where is Condi while this is going on, on another shoe-shopping spree?

Nope, she's probably out picking her flattened, rotting, tread-marked, old favorite phrase from years ago up off the highway. That phrase? "Roadkill of history." I'll bet she still uses it when talking lovey-dovey in private with Bush, though.
