My daughter celebrated her second birthday yesterday and as I was watching her build a tall structure out of some new blocks, I had a kind of waking dream where 15 years from now she asks me, "Dad, you knew there was an enormous energy deficit in the mechanics of the World Trade Center buildings coming down, why didn't you and mom protest the 9/11 Commission findings?". I guess like so many others, I was struggling to keep a job so she would have blocks to play with.
