Comments: A Rogue Band Of Criminals On The Federal Payroll

NPR just did a totally apologetic whitewash of this story, referring the extreme number of firings as "aggressive oversight"...Sounds like something Tony Snow would say...

I remember when NPR used to be a...like, news organization. The current NPR has very little in common with the NPR of 8 or 10 years ago. I stopped supporting them recently, might start again if they ever get back to doing news or something like it.

Blackwater is a nightmare coming to our towns. If we ever needed Waxman, it's now and it's this.

Dean, I feel the same about NPR, but stopped listening a couple years ago, just couldn't stand the Buscist Propaganda Lite. Democracy Now is the only radio news program worth a damn.

I concur with NPR....i just listen to a few local reports and that is it.....

And I am not giving a penny to their ongoing fundraisers.

NPR never did anything for me. It sounds more like Democrats than Republicans. But, since many of y'all are further out there now. The new progressives, no wonder it doesn't sound good anymore. You've moved and not them. Shocking isn't it.

As for Blackwater, they seem out of control a little. Needs to be reeled in. Go get them Waxman, be my guest.

"But, since many of y'all are further out there now."

Oh, you mean like "many of y'all are further out there now" in what use to be the Republican Party, but is now the new Far-Right?

Diane Rheum is the only person I listen to on NPR. She still produces an informative, factual show.

Hey Judith, looks like several people here wouldn't mind defunding NPR now. Several years ago they put up a fight to keep the funding, now they don't seem so sure. I don't care, I don't listen to it. NPR has an overly Democratic slant to me. If these people here don't like what they're hearing now, it must be because they have moved further left, not in my direction. We, Republicans don't listen to it to start with anymore. We stopped years ago, Like in Reagan's term.

More money for the war from Democrats. Senate approved another 150 billion dollars with a vote of 92 to 3. Bill now waits for the House bill to conference with. Let's see what they come up with.

"NPR has an overly Democratic slant to me."

The truth does seem to have a liberal bias.
