Ruled by propoganda-why the MoveOn ad created such a firestorm.
Why won't Obama tell us the Repubs and Fox News have no clothes (pardon the graphic-eek!) Who is he afraid of, the 'Mercan people or how his reaction will be spun on the teevee?
Flag lapel pins are repuke cult code for "I want gay sex."
Pass it on.

"...with a twelve year old."
Posted by Sharon at October 6, 2007 07:47 AMAnd "I want gay sex" is itself repuke cult code for "I want to steal your granny's modest nest egg and throw her in a ditch and bomb little kids all over the world cuz I can."
Posted by Sharkbabe at October 6, 2007 08:16 AMWhy should Americans vote for Dems who are too spineless to fight for themselves?!?!?!?
Their cowardice (or is it complicity?) disgusts me.
Posted by gay veteran at October 6, 2007 08:48 AMCouldn't agree more, gay vet. It's incomprehensible and utterly sickening. That this horror show could be happening for year after grinding year tells me the system is completely broken.
Well, let it play out in its orgiastic death 'n greed tv world destroying madness.
There's still us humans, in the end.
Posted by Sharkbabe at October 6, 2007 09:17 AM33 points behind HC, what do you expect. This guy's no JFK, no vision. Just another Chicago area politician, and a weak one at that. Mayor Dailey would carve this guy up before breakfast. He's done stick a fork in him and his presidential hopes. Ran too soon, ran a ineffective campaign. This guy's 15 minutes is done, go back to the senate and sit down.
Posted by peter at October 6, 2007 10:00 AMIs wearing a label pin (mostly worn by Republican politicians, if you have noticed) the same as the yellow ribbons on the back of cars?
So, let me get this straight. It's okay to fuck little boys by members of Congress, but oh my god, Obama doesn't wear a label pen. Hang 'em!
Posted by Judith at October 6, 2007 10:19 AMThat's more or less it, Judith. The Repigs are clawing at any pathetic issue these days. Who can blame them, when all they do is seriously fuck up...
Posted by tempus at October 6, 2007 11:10 AMI like lapel pins.
Those SS pins the Nazis wore were positively....striking.

Posted by gay veteran at October 6, 2007 02:24 PMLefty bloggers and local vets have been fuming about Limbaugh's insults towards the troops who are not lock-step in favor of the Iraq War. Our local paper has very understandably kept its distance from the whole fuss and bother as it's owned by a Republican (Who can either lie to defend Limbaugh or piss off his Republican buddies by telling the truth).
Problem is, why aren't Democrats forcing the media into commenting? It's a lose-lose proposition for Republican-owned media. Some liberals are saying there are more important issues going on. Perhaps, but when an issue infuriates the right wing like this, it's time to pile on!
Come on, Dems! The other guys are drowning! Start throwing anvils already!
