Roe v. Wade for Men

Whaddaya think?

Unequal treatment for men or a well deserved place in the judicial trashbin?

[offered with an extreem dose of snark.]

Should have known the Nat'l Center for Men was in on the deal, snark. They're the group that believes only women should bear the costs of fucking, aren't they? They don't want to pay child support because the hated women might benefit from the money. Buncha whiners, if I recall correctly. The moniker was designed to get headlines, prolly, since R v W has nothing to do with the case. The guy should be charged with frivolous litigation.

Dubay, 25, had said ex-girlfriend Lauren Wells knew he didn't want to have a child and assured him repeatedly she couldn't get pregnant because of a medical condition.

Guess he should have used a condom. Or kept it in his pants. Why doesn't the guy believe in personal responsibility?

Well Ann, you couldn't be more wrong. Remember this is the pResident who promoted "personal responsibility" for seven years. As in all things Bush, it doesn't apply to him.

IF true, then Lauren is quite the scumbag.

There are loads of cases of people who are told they can't conceive who end up pregnant. Sorry, I get sick of hearing how women "trick" men into getting them pregnant. If a man does not want to be a father, he can abstain from sex.

and some people (even women!) lie

and some people (even women!) lie

here's a clue: if you are having sex with a woman and you don't know if she's lying to you, you probably shouldn't be having sex with her. no victims allowed: take responsibility for yourself because once there's a baby, all bets are off. birth control is available for both men and women.

sorry Ann, but the point is that people lie and they too should take responsibility for their lies
