Excellent flashback, eriposte, and right on target. It's disconcerting to watch liberals repeat RNC talking points, and even more so when they defend them as their own ideas without a thought to whether they're true or not. And you're exactly right, the Tim Russerts are salivating at the chance to Gore Hillary with the help of the other Dems. Why are people on the left falling for it again?
Posted by iamcoyote at November 13, 2007 08:10 AMSo, Edwards refuses to say whether he'll support Hillary if she wins the nom. Not a good sign, and it's yet another strike against him for me. TPM has it.
Posted by iamcoyote at November 13, 2007 08:44 AMYeah, nice job, Johnny. What are you gonna do, vote for Rudy?
Thursday's debate is gonna be so nasty. Coyote, if you pop the popcorn, I'll bring the drinks. Hell, there's gonna be more hitting than during a Seahawks game.
Posted by Jeff Dinelli at November 13, 2007 09:11 AMNot sure I'll want to watch it, Jeff. Do I want to watch Edwards embarrass himself further by spending the entire time picking apart Hillary's sentences, instead of answering questions? Do I want to watch Obama once again bring up Social Security when it should be left alone? Do we need to spend the entire time rehashing the "planting the questions" idiocy, pretending that the questions were sucking up rather than on issues of substance? I really hate primaries because it always ends up like this; not sure I'll want to ruin a good evening with that kind of disgust!
Still, maybe you should live-blog it!!
Posted by iamcoyote at November 13, 2007 09:37 AMLive-blog it. And invite everyone to join in. Wow. That could be fun. Ramp up on some hard-core speed and a six-pack of Red Bull and just start typin'!
Hmmm...good idea. If enough people will participate, I don't wanna be typing to myself.
Posted by Jeff Dinelli at November 13, 2007 09:40 AMObama isn't going to get elected by "telling the truth" if his truth is that he's going to raise the cap on social security taxes and that energy costs are going to rise if we switch to alternative fuels. He may get the nomination from the left base, but he'll lose a general election. People don't want the truth.
Posted by CG at November 13, 2007 12:15 PMexcellent article. Obama has been made as the truth's replica by media. How can he lie? People do not belive until he gets caught or until HRC engages in attacking answers to these bozos mud-slinging.
About Edwards not supporting HRC even she is the nominee shows how negative that guy is. There are so many edwards supporters on the Kos website claim they wont support her too.
These kind of things bring back rethugs to WH
