why read Broder's column anyway, Steve?
Posted by T2 at November 15, 2007 07:31 AMDidn't I just stick a fork in this guy? What, doesn't Broder read the Left Coaster? This guy is a pathetic joke! Steve, mass mail this to every media guy you know, let's bring this old fart down!
Posted by Jeff Dinelli at November 15, 2007 07:46 AMBlitzer, who said he had not been directly contacted by the Clinton campaign, called the New York Democrat “a sophisticated, strong politician.” But he also issued his own veiled warning.
“If she can’t handle the heat during a Democratic contest, wait until the Republicans really start going after her,” he told TV Newser. “If she’s the nominee.”
This your girl?
Posted by jj at November 15, 2007 07:58 AMI'm with T2; why read this guy? He hasn't said anything interesting since... wait, I've never read this guy.
Posted by iamcoyote at November 15, 2007 08:32 AMIt's been about 15 years since he's been notable, but he's still held in high esteem among the D.C. pundits, who call him "The Dean."
Posted by Jeff Dinelli at November 15, 2007 08:46 AMConsider our situation. This is a nation fighting two wars, with rampant oil price created "unoffical" inflation, a housing meltdown, a destroyed city in Louisiana, ect. and all this guy can write about is someones marriage? Please.
Posted by herbal tee at November 15, 2007 09:10 AMGo ahead, Broder, keep reminding people about Bill Clinton. Every time you remind people more and more about how good we had it under him, you only ensure Hillary's election all the more. Thanks for playing useful idiot, old man
Posted by gf120581 at November 15, 2007 10:17 AMUh, Wolfie? Did you miss the 1990's? The Republicans have ALREADY gone after Hilary Clinton, in worse fashion than your nightmares, and she has survived the unceasing attacks, and thrived. Why don't you just accuse her of killling Vince Foster--again--for old times' sake?
And you have the gall to call yourself a "journalist."
Charles
Posted by charles moore at November 15, 2007 11:04 AMI think Broder is poised for a comeback.
Posted by Jazgar at November 15, 2007 11:23 AMbill clinton was and is despised by the washington establishment and the repubublican right....hated like few others..has an impeachment to prove it...the man was impeached..and his wife might be the next president of the united states..how great is that..the sioux had a saying that you could judge the strength of a warrior by the force of his enemies..i personally would welcome both clintons back into the white house and i believe this time they will be remembered as liberals..when they're done

I've heard no one takes a cocktail weenie like "The Dean".

The oil price was 20 dollars when Bill left office. It is close to 100 today and soon we probably will pay 4 or 4.50 for gas.
