so far, the musings Rove has released as part of his Newsweek gig have only illustrated that he's far from the genius his reputation would have us believe. In fact, the statements quoted in Soto's post show him to be as much stupid as delusionally false, i.e. "Aggressively campaign for the votes of America's minorities". This from a man who presided over the purposeful disenfranchisement of thousands of African-American voters and whose party has compared Mexican immigrants to Al Qaeda. Karl Rove - architect of the most disliked Administration and President in American History. Genius..uh, not close.
Posted by T2 at November 19, 2007 09:56 AMUm, this is called mendacious disinformation, which Newsweek is delighted to peddle to gulls and pinheads. It is to be used to build more MSM lies, lies upon lies, the Repub Way.
Either that or, as T2 says, KKKarl Rover is a retarded simpleton. Your pick, I guess.
Posted by euzoius at November 19, 2007 10:50 AM#1..al gore was elected in 2000
#2 ..bush adminstation is responsible for allowing 9/11 to happen
#3...that's what they run on ..fearmongering
there is no genius in karl rove...he is a snake..like the rest of them...
i believe that billary (i like that) are smarter them them..they have been vetted like no others....they won't take their shit..she is electable
Posted by dennis at November 19, 2007 10:52 AMI'm with euzoius in the paranoia about this. I don't blame Kos for getting paid, but he is being used by Rove and Newsweek. I bare Kos no malice, and I am very sincere in saying that I hope it was worth it for him, that this money from Newsweek helps his family out in some way.

This is Democrats we're talking about. Right?
Don't expect them to start going after Rudy until well after the convention. And then it will be a half-hearted and muddled exercise.
Then, cue the hand-wringing.
Maybe with Sidney Blumenthal joining Hillary's campaign will get her off of Obama and onto going after the Republicans, but I'm not holding my breath.
Did you notice how Obama and Clinton played perfectly into the Republicans' hands in responding to the Novak smear?
Posted by Mister Go at November 19, 2007 11:09 AMIt's like they think, "Hey. We're Democrats. We don't do politics. We're supposed to be patsies. OK?"
Posted by Mister Go at November 19, 2007 11:11 AMfunny how karl seems to feel that the way to win is to be honest and genuine...that's pretty funny stuff...seems to me that it had a lot more to do with swiftboating people whenever they had the chance...swiftboating is their way of being honest and genuine..that's karl rove..it's the republican...i don't know how much more you can swiftboat hillary and bill....but you sure could do one hell of a swiftboating job with rudy..using a few fireman from ny..and a couple of his wives..just for beginners
Posted by dennis at November 19, 2007 11:24 AMremember how john keryy was the deserter and gw was the real war hero..remember that...wrll hillary is still maried to bill...but it is rudy that is the real family man...thats the republican way..truth and honesty..you gotta give them credit...that shit ain't easy to pull off..
Posted by dennis at November 19, 2007 11:29 AMI'm just waiting for Karl Rove to discuss the real Republican playbook which starts like this:
"I'm rubber and you're glue ..."
Posted by CitizenBoo at November 19, 2007 11:43 AMThe Dems could also point out that violence has DECREASED 90% in Basra since the British pulled their troops.
