Comments: Obey And Murtha: "No Strings = No Money"

Well Junyah and the gang are already threatening to send layoff notices to at least 100,000+ civilians at the Pentagon in a preemptive shot across the bow to convince those prone to bedwetting Democrats what will happen if they don't cough up the money The BoyKing's demanding without the troop withdrawal goal/timeline included in the funding.....so I imagine by tomorrow morning after the soiled sheets have been cleaned, folded and tallied, the headline will reflect the "change of heart" by the Democrats.

You'd think just once, just for laughs, just for a change of pace, just to try it out, Dems would actually stick to their guns, declare the US to be a democracy with another elected branch of government, and that Nero jr must accept these facts.

Who knows what might happen.

off thread..but Scotty Mc's admission today that both Cheney and Bush were in on the Plame thing is hardly news to us all. We knew they were all lying, including Scotty, and one of them was convicted of lying. But with his admission (which I'm sure will draw the usual "disgruntled former employee" line from the WH)... haven't we got to a point where some kind of criminal charges have to be leveled at both Cheney and Bush? I mean, where's Fitz....re-open the case and call Scotty right in to the courtroom. I mean the guy implicated the President of the United States in, at the least, lying straight to the American people.

Would by Christmas be too soon?

"Murtha needs the money to keep pumping to his corporate buddies."

Anyone else understand that comment?

I understand it. I predict Pelosi will not be in the House in '09. I believe she has been told to do something about Iraq or she is gone.

"Told" by who, JohnT?

Posted by euzoius at November 21, 2007 06:16 AM

By people all over the country. Notice I said I believe. If people all over the country are telling her I would assume her constituents are also telling her. I believe Cindy is going to run against her.

OK, I get it.
