Well, this freaked me out yesterday.
Cops really need to stop with the tasers. What ever happened to pepper spray? Or just grappling with a suspect?
Posted by MaskedVigilante at November 29, 2007 05:04 AMMV, digby had a great discussion of the incident last week; authoritarianism on the march. Also, steer clear of Utah - the cops target out of state plates.
Posted by iamcoyote at November 29, 2007 05:31 AMIt may shock some but yes, even an illegal immigrant can be a hero.
Posted by Seven of Six at November 29, 2007 07:40 AM"We will cross Mountains, Deserts and yes, even Borders to feed our children. Wouldn't you?"
Posted by Seven of Six at November 29, 2007 08:34 AMThanks for the link to that story, SoS; I'd heard about it, but hadn't read up on it. Humanity and compassion come in all shapes, sizes and colors; the GOP only comes in white and selfish. No wonder they want to keep out all immigrants. Can't have more humanitarians in the US, can they?
Posted by iamcoyote at November 29, 2007 08:41 AMConartista's grandmother was Dutch?
Posted by TIKI AL at November 29, 2007 08:58 AMLike most Americans, I didn't see the GOP debate last night. Anyone got a link to the zombie bible guy? I hear he was pretty dang scary!
Posted by iamcoyote at November 29, 2007 09:06 AMYou mean Goober Godbot?
I wish someone would post pictures of Jim Nabors as Goober and the Ex-TV Evangalist Huckster side by side.
They look and sound like twins. I'll bet Jim can sing better, though.
Posted by TIKI AL at November 29, 2007 09:24 AMPlease support Lt. Ehren Watada's father, Robert Y. Watada, in his Appeal to Congress for Congressional hearings on the Constitutional questions raised by Lt. Wastada's case....namely a serviceperson's right to obey their conscience and their duty to protect our Constitution from domestic enemeies who circumvent our Constitution and subvert our form of gov't.

Posted by Kax at November 29, 2007 10:57 AMAnyone got a link to the whole debate?
Glen Beck (see Eri's thread) is convinced that whatever little stank is going on from last night was planned and executed by Hillary Clinton.
It's a good thing I wasn't drinking. Otherwise my front windshield would have been covered with beverage.
Posted by idiosynchronic at November 29, 2007 11:05 AMI thought drinking was mandatory when listening to right wing radio, idio!
Posted by iamcoyote at November 29, 2007 11:28 AMSadly, No has finally posted some of the debate - I knew they would. Crazy bible guy's the top one. Don't miss the hilarious comments, either!
