Posted by idiosynchronic at December 6, 2007 06:37 PMWith all the blood Bush has spilled in Iraq, it is a rouge nation.
The waxman commeth. I hope he hangs those rogues, Bush and Cheney.

Well, there never has been a subpoena enforced, so I don't hold out much hope this time either.
Posted by Judith at December 7, 2007 12:26 AMWaxman is asking new Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey to release transcripts of interviews of President Bush, Vice President Cheney and other senior officials from the now-completed CIA leak investigation.
Waxman has asked Mukasey in a letter released on Monday to intervene in his dispute with the White House, saying that Special Counsel Patrick J. Fitzgerald has already turned over notes and transcripts of non-grand-jury interviews with CIA and State Department officials.
Well, this should be interesting. Get out the popcorn.
Here is Waxman's letter to Mukasey, dated December 3:

Posted by Judth at December 7, 2007 01:18 AMCongressman, Neil Abercrombie:
As you may know, Rep. Dennis Kucinich introduced a Resolution of Impeachment for Vice President Cheney (H. Res. 799) which came to the floor on November 6th. We fought off a move to kill the resolution and it was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. When the measure comes back to the floor for a vote of the full House, I will certainly keep your views in mind.
I have asked U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald to reopen and expand his investigation into the leak of classified information by top White House personnel. This is the process that led to the indictment and a guilty plea from I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby for lying to a grand jury.
Based on revelations from the publisher of former White House Secretary Scott McClellan’s forthcoming book, McClellan admits that Libby, Karl Rove, Andrew Card, Vice President Cheney and President Bush all deliberately misled him about the involvement of White House personnel in the leak of former CIA Officer Valerie Plame’s identity. The only way to determine whether or not this is true is to reopen the investigation.
Yes Virginia, there just might be a Santa Claus, but I'm still doubtful.
idiosynch- thanks. i threw that up before rushing out the door- ouch!
judith- thanks for all the info. i agree- i'm skeptical that the dems will force this one, but it's a good first step. we shall see...
Posted by Turkana at December 7, 2007 06:04 AMthis is going nowhere. just like the rest of Waxman's subpoena's.
