always and ever- it's the political angle they look for first.
Posted by Turkana at December 10, 2007 12:54 AMWith you guys, "you can blame this admin for everything." What's the difference, he tried something, this Democratic Congress can't agree on anything. They can't fashion any type of compromise, it's not in their nature. No wonder they have such a puny approval rating. Last years Congress had a much better number when the American people fired the leadership. Wonder if this Congress's leadersheep will face the same.

Posted by jj at December 10, 2007 05:42 AMHowever many millions have unnecessarily died in Iraq, it will be the meltdown of our economy (in thrall to conservative "free market" theorists) which will spell the doom of the Right--that is, if anything can harm this proto-fascist movement.
Peter seems a mite low-energy today with his Bushco cheerleading---better light a fire under your ass pronto, ambassador petco, or your conservative overloards will fire you in around 4 seconds, nitwit grin and "joy" for our returning troops notwithstanding.
"What have you done for me lately" is all your corporate bosses care about, both at Burger Barn and the RNC online volunteer brigade.
Look lively, soldier!

This man speculates that even with Democratic "haplessness," The GoOpers are DoOmed. I hope he's right, but what a price to pay.

Posted by beensoldout at December 10, 2007 09:01 AMgreat article: "...the politics of fear on which this administration has maintained so much of its power, and on which Republican presidential candidates seem to depend so completely, is eroding all around us...."

Posted by Gay Veteran at December 10, 2007 10:11 AMYou and I have been down this road before, Mary. I respect your view and agree that it has merit. I read your posts because you make the reader think about issues. We agree on many issues, but we differ on this one. I will refer you to my blog post of today.

Posted by jj at December 10, 2007 05:27 PMAnd now we know why Speaker Pelosi took impeachment off the table. She's complicit. George is safe as long as she's Speaker.
