You are nuts to compare the Bush administration with the Nazis, but then again you have such hate in you towards Bush, it is not a surprise.

30 years from now we will know 1/30th of the Bush horrors, and there will be no McNamarra moments coming from any of these criminals who will never sit a day in jail.

With all of the waterboarding going on, how was the double car bombing today of the UN office building in Algeria which killed 47 people missed?

A very sick post.

Dave, no one has ever shown hate to Dem's (bill Clinton)or compared them to Nazis. I sure you complained then too!

And just like the Nazi's, there will be some who say it never happened the way it was recorded.

Look at the 24% who decry the truth now.

It will be left to the remaining 76% to make sure history knows the real truth.

Mary's point is interesting.

Mary compared the Bush administration's record keeping to the compulsive record keeping of the NAZIs which is not saying their other actions are or are not fascistic, heinous, or NAZI like.

It's a good post.

I have not seen that Mary "hates" the Bush administration. Her posts more reflect "dismayed at their incompetence" and "despising their corruption". Perhaps she "hates the lost opportunities over the last years for America and the world", but those are fact based evaluations, not mindless personal attacks.

But that's OK. The Bebe (BBC) has an article on homo sap. evolution speeding up and maybe we'll evolve so that people will no longer take one word out of an argument and use it for a shallow personal attack.

Do you think?

I agree - thought-provoking post - the Nazis ate breakfast too, but that doesn't make us all Nazis (duh). I too suspect that there is extensive record-keeping. What we need is a "Daniel Ellsberg" courageous enough to blow the whistle on this administration and reveal the records that surely exist. That would show America (and the world) that America stands for more than deceit, lining the pockets of its current administration's best friends (come to think of it, Saddam Hussein did that too!), and empire (poorly) disguised as humanitarian aid to the Middle East.

Wonder if Bush tapes his WH conversations?

"Wonder if Bush tapes his WH conversations?"

My guess is not, but Cheney installed a bug and collects Bush's mal mots. Maybe on MP3s.
