I can't help but notice in Healy's article, the author refers to Obama as Senator Barack Obama. However, he fails to mention that Clinton is a Senator as well.
Posted by krismr at December 26, 2007 11:48 AMKrismr, lack of respect, I would say, plus other obvious reasons. I never refer to someone's title I dislike, or I mess up the spelling of their name or as in the case of Bush, I always write pResident to show my lack of respect.
Posted by Judith at December 26, 2007 11:58 AMThe same press that spent the 90's screaming that Hillary was way too involved, and overstepping her bounds, and had way too much power for a First Lady, is now flip-flopping and claiming she hadn't a political thought in her pretty little head for the entire 8 years.
These are the same morons that claim that the entire reason Gore doesn't like her is that the traditional VP's role fell to her, rather than him, and he was marginalized. They want to have it both ways.
What I was impressed by in the article was the use of the "it's cold somewhere so global warming doesn't exist". He cites numerous people who say she wasn't in this meeting or that meeting ergo she didn't learn anything.

Marc, that the standard line used by our trolls here. It's a GOP talking point.
Posted by Judith at December 26, 2007 12:57 PMThe Times' Hillary haters will be tarring her with their ink consistently now. Healy comes off as a funny guy to anyone with common sense.
Posted by Sally at December 26, 2007 02:16 PMHillary Clinton - Hmmm, didn't she vote for the Iraq War Resolution and the Patriot Act?
