Comments: Axelrod Way Out Of Line In Bhutto Remarks

Axelrod has already proven that 1) he's a political hired-gun scumbag, 2) that his job is to spin like teenager doing donuts on a frozen lake.

Yuk, sleazy hired guns!

It's a slight variance on a theme. We have moved from it's all Bill Clinton's fault to it's now Hillary's fault. Expect more of this kind of attack.

Oy....I'm gonna add to your sentiment even though IANFOH (I am no fan of Hillary's)...but as far as Axelrod's comments go on this all I can say is the... stoopid it' burns.

Considering Sen. Obama voted essentially lockstep with Sen. Clinton - and voted to continue Iraq funding as did Sen. Clinton - since he joined the Senate in Jan 2005, does this mean Axelrod also believes Sen. Obama is complicit in the assassination of Sen. Clinton's friend Benazir Bhutto? By extension, are all the Democrats who voted to continue funding for the Iraq war complicit in Bhutto's murder?

Also, I am pretty amazed that Axelrod and Sen. Obama would suggest that Democrats cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. If Sen. Obama is elected President, we are not going to be able to get out of Iraq overnight. Does this mean, if there are additional attacks in Pakistan in 2009, he would be culpable for them until we withdraw from Iraq completely? This is naive and dangerous BS.

I also see Evan Bayh out with a statement that these kinds of attacks suggest people should support Hillary. Certainly not as outrageous as Axelrod's comments, but quite ridiculous in its own way. Such attacks don't prove in any way that Hillary or Obama or anyone else deserves our vote.

It's fucked up, I'm officially sick of the primaries, why should anyone should care about Iowa anyway?!

Want a laugh? Ask the political junkies to explain the mechanics of caucus, 90% can't, hardly anyone literally knows what the hell they're talking about the whole time!

Jesus. I could use a sleeping pill that lasts 60 days, you know?

Paradox, I can explain the caucuses, and I'm happy to.

But I get your point. And I quit watching local and network TV this summer. :)

one thing he said is right on the mark: "one of the reasons that Pakistan is in the distress that it’s in is because al-Qaeda is resurgent, has become more powerful within that country and that’s a consequence of us taking the eye off the ball and making the wrong judgment in going into Iraq."

Bush let Osama and al Qaeda escape and now they are causing major problems in both Afghanistan and Pakistan. Yet more awful consequences of Dear Leader's cockup in invading Iraq.
