Comments: How About a Republican Meme Contest for Sen. Obama's Next Speech?

At times I think the Republicans are running the Democratic Party just as a way of maintaining the appearance of a democracy without the chance of actually losing power. The last thing we need is to run against the GOP with some tone-deaf harpy, or a charismatic black-lite, or some poofed up FDR wannabe as our candidate. The country needs BRAINS, not "electability". Fire the consultants -definitely fire Carville-Maitlin - and run with Biden and Richardson. Put some IQ on the ticket and hammer it hard. No more bumbling, no more charisma, no more faith. The US runs best with high-octane brain power.

Looks like "fighting" John Edwards is the unity candidate based on these numbers.

Edwards. The GOP/Corporate Media will go nuts if he wins Iowa. Put him with Dodd or Richardson or Clark and they win. I'm not a huge Edwards fan..I've seen/heard him say stuff that turned me off at the time...but the Republicans don't think they can't beat him. Neither do I.

I'm going with an attack on Edwards' wealth. Thanks to the right wing, we all know that no wealthy person can speak credibly about the plight of the less-than-wealthy.
