Umm..isn't Hillary doing very well among the Black community nationally?

That is some serious Beltway kool aid.

Why is the media so alarmed that the Democratic Party is bringing out so many voters who aren't white males?

Because white male voters are real voters. You know, Heartland America voters who like Straight Talk, or who maybe want to land a plane on Mitt Romney's shoulders, but definitely want to have a beer with their president.

Those other voters? They're just different, and probably dangerous and bad and stuff like that.

Couple of things:
1) Every campaign, EVERY one, tries to spin defeat as something less that that.

2) I think some folks are taking out their media anger on Obama. To be sure, I'm not saying he's upset that they might push his "change" rhetoric (he has hung his hat on it, let's not forget) but that Andrea Mitchell or Howard Fineman make those statements shouldn't be some way of forming an attack on Obama. That's a MEDIA issue.

3) The Democrats will unite behind whomever wins. But I think people are being kind of naive if they just think this race stuff is going to fade innocently into the background when the nomination process is over. Think about it. If Hillary wins (and, due to the recent nastiness, I don't think we'll be seeing Clinton/Obama '08), and Obama returns to the senate determined to run again at some point, don't we think it's a bit of a problem that we are seeing focus group reports that members of the largest growing group in the electorate won't vote for a very good black candidate? As a black man, I find that worrisome. Sorry, but I do. And I don't know what can be done to change that. And that bothers me to no end.

Are we being set up for a GOP win in November?

Is that "one more delegate" where they drew cards to see who would get that one delegate?

Yes, that UNITE ad was awful. Many don't seem to understand that "nuestra gente" is not Spanish for any generic group of people, but specifically Latinos. It was blatant race baiting, which has been an Obama tactic (see: Jesse Jackson, Jr.; SC primary memo). The fact that Obama refused to denounce that ad spoke volumes to me. Hell, the fact that he hasn't fired Jackson or apologized for his remarks told me what he was willing to do to win.

He needs to be held accountable b/c if he doesn't he'll continue doing this at the expense of our party. If he's the nominee I'll vote for him, but I want a healthy, strong Democratic party, not one torn to shreds to suit the ambition of Obama.
