Comments: Fundraiser at Orcinus

I have to get caught up with his writing but I already like that he's a Decemberists fan. I may send him a fiver just for that.

Sara Robinson? Mrs. Robinson? She's the co-blogger there; writes from a feminist/former fundie family point of view. I've linked to her here several times. Sheesh, Jeff, you got a lot of catching up to do.

Know what would really help raise money for progressive blogs? A non-profit fundraising organization.

I read so many blogs and I love them all, but I can't possibly give to them all in individual donations. It would be nice to have a place to go, donate a lump sum, and then check off the blogs I want to support, maybe with a % figure to divy up the lump sum amount.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the blogs would raise money from people who are not giving now.

Sara Robinson also contributes over at The Group News Blog, Steve Gilliard's excellent spin off.
