Comments: Burmese Blogger Arrested

How long will it be until the internet in the US is censored? Understand that as more people recognize that the corporate media is more into manipulating than informing, they are abandoning it as a source of accurate information. The primary tools of government information control are slipping from it's grasp.

HR 1955 (Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007) seems like the next step in criminalizing alternative views and news. As this bill makes it's way through the Senate, look for indepedent thought and expression to be punished and controversial blogs exposing government lies to be shut down.

All in the interest of stopping "the terrorists" of course.....riiiiight.

Frightening. I'm sure there are people in this Country who would agree with the actions of Burma.

Well, I have no doubt that this site among many others are being watched and read for dissenting and "unpatriotic" views. I came to terms with that a while ago.
