But, seeing as that was not really the case according to lots of people, I guess the rest of the world has been left with this huge mess. Though eminently appealing to an easily amused complacent gaggle of studiously ignorant flag patriots, the broadbrush application of industrial slaughter and wreckage imposes a counterproductive, negative feedback regime on the entire criminally conceived and executed expedition. The only beneficiaries being the victim national resistance's recruiting department and American arms manufacturers and all at great expense to the overall US national interest.
