true about the Bush African threat...but Bob Herbert and Keith Olbermann are no longer truth tellers...they are sabotaging Democrats by not telling the truth about Obama...They are complicit in leading Democrats over a cliff. Keith in particular, has gained credibility due to his previously brave positions...but something happened to him...his change of heart was too sudden...and then he was gung ho on Obama....so please...quoting these people makes me a little sick. They are hypocrites...maybe you should point that out...There's nothing we can do about Bush now...but we can do something about a pending electoral disaster far worse than a non cancelled trip to Africa.

super delegates...whoever wins the popular vote when the primaries are done....should get them all..simple as that..don't see how one can argue that or have it be any more fair...and while we're at it..why not revote in michigan and florida...now given that scenario..do you think both candidates would agree?...i think one would..the other would say..nah i don't think so..can you guess which is which

And how much more danger are you in today because AT&T isn't feeding all your information to GWB?

It depends Mary, unless you mean after AT&T cancelled their surveillance for the FBI and the US gov't for failing to pay their bills? And I didn't realize that the FISA court and the warrant process that enables the US gov't to spy first and get a warrant later retroactively is no longer effective either. You'd hope they might want to still use those powers and laws that allow for that legal process to occur when hunting down those bad guys.

Maybe, but that kinda defeats the purpose of having super-delegates.

The only fool bigger than George Bush is the fool that believes George Bush.

Please, Lily, do NOT offer me any of what you're smoking. It's been a while, but I still remember why they call it dope!

Well, normally I'd be happy to have my small Frank Herbert page linked to, by anyone who finds his work interesting.

But, then I noticed -- one post down -- that this site has devolved into bizarre parsing of Sen Obama's innocuous statements for subliminal sexist impulses.

You can't talk about fear being the mindkiller with reference to Dubya, and then try to stir up bizarre and groundless fears that Sen. Obama is some kind of loathsome closet sexist sending out coded signals to alpha male wingnuts.

So, please remove the link. It's much appreciated.

yeah Jay, let's go back to the law of the jungle, social Darwinism, that worked really well

and korporations have done such a good job regulating themselves

Yikes..just based on the Kevin's response and request for the link removal, I'm glad I didn't visit. Based on his aversion to differing points of view and opinions and his lack of tolerance for dissent, it's most likely not the type of site I'd want to visit anyway. Its this type of behavior that really scares and bothers me and is remarkably similar to the rightwing. Stifling differing opinions even happened over at DU (Several former Edwards supporters have posted at length on it over there) and I'm not the only one who has noticed or been subjected to the rabid anger filled name calling similar to what happened to them, right here at this blog.

Like I said I can't even begin to imagine what type of hate mail you get here people if these types of things are occuring here and noted so rampantly elsewhere in the blogosphere and to those like Paul Krugman.

And I'm sorry but it does appear to predominantly Obama supporters that I see. (I've seen it from both, but much more from the Senator Barack "Unity" Obama supporters side of the blogosphere.

I want you all to who main page blog here I really appreciate your plugging away and speaking your mind no matter if I agree with you or not. Thank you for tolerating differing opinions and not getting intimidated by people telling you to stfu or otherwise...keep it up please ....your voices are needed and appreciated. I'm sure you all have better things to do at times than to be verbally abused by people...but your voices and words are appreciated and are why I have been here so long and for so many years.

I laugh at the fear mongering by Bushco, and I will continue to do so until they come up with something at least as scary as my ex-wife.
