The paper of record:

of the proverbial "broken record"

A second try, right Turkana? Led your readers astray on the first try. Try it again, this one doesn't work either.

Being attacked by the NYTimes is a Republican's badge of honor.
Rovian technique of "energizing the base."
RNC sent out fundraising email about "affair" attack.
Forget the details.....
Article is a plus for McCain.

Based on the troll activity here, the NYT report must be rattling the lunatic fringe!! The are on here like roaches when the lights go off.

Very interesting article.

So far it isn't even a scandal, just rumors and innuendo.

I'm a die-hard Democrat and I don't see the point of this story. Is it to give them an excuse to slime Obama with something equally tawdry and factually weak?

A Senator doing favors for a lobbyist is a scandal? Since when?

The only thing unusual is the idea of a GOPer doing favors in exchange for sex. Usually they want cash.

Real scandal: Hill's Bill - Frank Giustra - Kazatomprom uranium - $31.3 million donation.

Cynically speaking, a senator doing favors for a lobbyist is hardly news, but with McCain it is news because of how he portrays himself. The innuendo is the only reason everyone is talking at all about the political end of it, though.
