What else would you expect from Bama Repugs. It should be called Soviet Bama.

Prosecution, not persecution. Dems have a special place in their heart for criminals, particularly when they violate the public trust.

These people put Putin to shame.

Frankly, I don't think too many BushAmericans understand that politically driven criminal prosecutions are a big problem and red flag for a "democracy". Further, they've been endlessly told by right wing media that the Scooter Libby prosecution was "really" political (those politically powerful 2003 Dems!). Most now believe that.

But not only do they not understand, they don't actually care. And certainly the corporate press as a whole doesn't want this story to become "known". Will Dems even start talking about it? Bet not.

Today we have MSM CNN running online "polls" as to whether Obama is "patriotic" enough to be prez. And there will be no questions asked as to how and why the Wingnut Noise Machine is allowed to get such shit into the public "debate".

And the NYT is crucified for revealing actual facts about Geezer McBush's dirty lobbying laundry, along with his own staff's suppositions as to his likely "motives". Sheesh.

What a country. I think the real answer to Obama's question is "No, We Can't"......shop, shop, shop your cares away, BushAmerica.

The check that supposedly proved that Siegelman had taken a bribe from Scrushy was not even issued or paid out anywhere near the date that the meeting supposedly took place. And yet, the entire case - based on testimony of a known criminal - rested on that check. This is not the way the justice system works anywhere else in America. Alabama is an effing wasteland. My husband had relatives there...I know it's true!

And to think that Siegelman was trying to help the failing education system there. It's party over nation or state for those GOP creeps each and every time. Karl Rove should be in that prison - not Siegelman.

I believe the Right Wing is extremely arrogant, like most people seeking dictatorial powers are. I believe they think, just like Rove did in 04, that their way is so clearly the right way that they will win all elections. I think they were excited about the possibility of finally, for once and for all, embarrassing the Clinton family into oblivion in the national election. I think that when they woke up a few weeks ago and realized Obama might well be their opponent, and that huge majorities, including disgruntled Republicans, were supporting him, they did a collective "oh shit". They'll be ramping up their anti-Obama campaign this week to try and get Hillary back on the road to the nomination...so they can carry out their plan. If Obama wins or keeps it close enough next week to stay ahead in delegates....then we'll see the GOP Media jump in and it will full blown war against Obama. All the Hillary supporters who claim the Media is taking it easy on Barack won't believe the amount of hate they'll be seeing directed at him from there on out.
