Congratulations and best wishes on your home improvement career.
If you haven't already, try to pick up more skills (tube/pipefitting, carpentry, electrical, masonry, etc.) & learn to estimate/manage projects.
Demand to improve our housing stock can only increase. Have fun.
Demand to improve our housing stock can only keep up? Our housing stock is going to crumble as people can't begin to pay all their daily expenses, let alone have anything left over for home improvements.
Paradox, you are so wise to have two strings to your bow. But you are also so right to mourn the kind of job security, union based safety, and rising standard of living that we used to know. The insecurity is massive, as much for people close to but not at the financial top as for people lower on the chain. I worry constantly about our financial situation which, while not problematic at all, could become precarious at any time since it is based on a single earner.

No noise pollution, air-borne paint loss, extra visqueen in the land fills and wasted water cleaning the equipment.
Your reckless decorating methods and lack of concern for the planet has rendered me verclempt.
Posted by TIKI AL at March 1, 2008 11:14 AMNamaste. I wish you success, and may all your needs be met. Also, if you're using spray equipment, please take care of your lungs by wearing protective gear. Sometimes I see people not taking care of their most precious gift, their health, and nothing goes right when the health goes wrong.
