Keith is right. Hopefully by now Hillary has said something definitively clear about how wrong Ferraro's comments were/are.

If she doesn't do that, I'll sadly admit, I'm done.

Ferraro infuriated me 20 years ago when she derided Jesse's campaign. I would like to think I haven't become dumber over the years.

Read that quote by Nero jr over and tell me if such sentiments could possibly come out of the mouth of a mature, responsible, intelligent person.

"If I have a chance to invade, I won't "waste" it like mah Daddy did". What a fucking monster. And that goes for everyone in BushAmerica who ever cast a ballot for him.

What do they call that, again? Oh, yes.

EVIL!

Bush is evil!

where's a Nuremberg Trial when you need one?

I hope he invades Iran before it's all said and done. I'm making a killing in my energy portfolio. And as long as those tax cuts become permenant...I'll continue being a happy camper in realityland...why the rest of you continue to your ridiculous search for socialist utopia. Marx Sucks!!! Long live Smith and Keynes!

gay vet...how's seneator Craig doing? Is it difficult to sit in those bathrooms tapping your foot for a long period of time?

Posted by liberalismisamentaldisorder at March 13, 2008 07:16 AM

Like I said earlier, Fallon's resignation wasn't about Iran.

Posted by iamcoyote at March 13, 2008 07:25 AM

well Jeff, it finally became politically expedient for Clinton to totally reject Ferraro's comments. You can hang on a little longer.

liberalismisamentaldisorder: "gay vet...how's seneator Craig doing? Is it difficult to sit in those bathrooms tapping your foot for a long period of time?"

hi pants pissing peter. sorry, I'm not a ReThug so I wouldn't know anything about foot tapping in restrooms

Posted by Gay Veteran at March 13, 2008 07:40 AM

sorry scout I can't concentrate on what you wrote because so many closeted Gay ReThugs are foot tapping

btw, since you're fixated on Gays, when did you first realize you were Gay?

Posted by Gay Veteran at March 13, 2008 07:55 AM

mentaldisorderdork---the chance of those tax cuts becoming permanent is zero, so you don't have a solid grip on "realityland" and your "happy camper" (what a cretinous phrase) days are runnin' down...

And capital gains taxes are going to be goin' up in the next year, too, so you better sell your ill-gotten, blood-spattered oil gains now while you have the chance.

And Keynes advocated massive government deficit spending on social programs and public investments to offset recession---he's not considered ANY conservative's hero, dimwit.

But perhaps you're praising Keynes because of Bushco's massive corrupt spending on crony "defense" capitalism---another great demonstration of conservative "principle". And liberalism is the "mental disorder"?

Winter Soldier starts today.

From March 13-16, 2008, Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) members will gather near Washington, DC to disclose the realities of U. S. war policy in a public investigation...Continuing a long tradition of courage, veterans and civilian survivors of both occupations will give public testimony and share eyewitness stories that have been censored from the American public about the true human cost of these occupations.

Why we need the Winter Soldiers and why they need us

Their stories will be told. Are you ready to listen? Are our candidates?

Let's hope the MSM takes a minute to cover Winter Soldier.

This is what 24/7 primary coverage gets us.

Vedeos are out of Rev Wright's (Obama's pastor) speeches and it ain't pretty. Obama has consistently NOT denounced this guy and this will hurt him I think. And apparently he has an official position in Obama's campaign. He says that black Americans should say "God Damn America" instead of "God Bless America" and that the US deserved 9/11 and it was nothing compared to what we've done to other countries. This won't play well in a general election.

That would be Videos.

Posted by CG at March 13, 2008 11:14 AM

Funny CG... not one thing Rev. Wright said was false.

Posted by Seven of Six at March 13, 2008 01:03 PM

That may be true (though al-qaeda wasn't getting back at us for Hiroshima. They didn't like that we were hanging in Saudi, so no, I don' think the people on the planes, in the towers, or even in the Pentagon deserved 9/11), but it doesn't matter. What matters is that it's probably career ending (or at least presidential aspirations ending) to be associated with someone who says that stuff. It'll be interesting to see the fallout--I think ABC news is reporting this, so it'll be out there and Obama is going to have to respond. He's already said that Wright is like an old uncle who sometimes says things you disagree with, but he's going to have to give a better answer than that.

Sorry CG, I only saw that one video at the link to Huff. Post.
I saw the other video later, it was a little more extreme for sure.
