Anyone see Fitna before the ubiquitous threat of muslim mayhem expurgated free people's right to know?
Posted by onar at March 29, 2008 04:06 PMI watched it.
But you will find few others here who did: the reality of the threat to the Western World is something most of the denizens of this blog would rather avoid. (These people would rather create and then promulgate the evil threat of a creation reffered to as ChimpyBushMcHitlerBurton.)

Thanks to Turkana for the link to Melissa's post. Some time ago I wrote about my "a-ha" moment regarding Senator Clinton and her campaign. Despite our many differences, the Senator and I have one tie that binds, one tie that runs through our respective life experiences.
My thoughts on this point included the observation that misogyny is not only allowed, but is in some ways promoted by our popular culture. Not the most well-received sentiment. Well, here's a story for doubters. A strip club in Dallas, TX was in the news recently for having a 12-year-old runaway dancing to earn her keep. While every part of the story makes me physically ill, here's the part to ponder:
Police officials are continuing to investigate whether the club's management knew the sixth-grader was underage.
The management must have known, that this is even a question seems absurd. But what about club patrons? Chances are, it didn't even cross their minds. Why do I think this? This is why. Weak, waifish, vulnerable, controlable, a 12-year-old is just what the patriarchy ordered.

They are selling these fashions to women. It's what the matriarchy demands. When women slather on some cosmetic, drench themselves in some scent du jour, get the multilayer dye job, have the perfect french nails, agonize over the clothes rack...all of these things, they do these all of these things because that's what the matriarchy demands.
Actually it's the fault of faggots. Yes indeedy it is. All them gay designers trying to make women look genderless with bulgy penis bumps in their female fashions. The codpiece is back!
Thanks to Turkana for the link to Melissa's post.
Yep. When it is inflated to the Obamaranians here telling Clinton to "Take her boobs and go home" we'll know where it came from.
...the Senator and I have one tie that binds,...
The vah-heena? Yes, it's the perfect reason to vote for a person. It also precludes getting to know their advisors and policy issues and the like. The vah-heena is a difficult issue, kinda like "Is Obama black enough?" It's a defining feature that puts all of the other issues under a perfect light...or total darkness.
..."a-ha" moment regarding Senator Clinton and her campaign...
That every news release from a Clinton staffer that doesn't end the Obama campaign is related to misogyny? Noting that Clinton is a corporate whore is related to misogyny? Understanding that her advisors are bomb and burn neoliberals is related to misogyny? Seeing her get an MSM pass on attempts to disenfranchise Texas voters is related to misogyny? It's the vah-heena, damnit (insert dean scream here)!
Posted by phidipides at March 30, 2008 08:07 AMIn the Chuck Todd article, it is fairly reasonable until you get to page 2 which starts with
Interestingly, if the roles were reversed, and it was Obama trailing on the delegate front but in a position to win a long-shot chance at the nomination, the full-court press from the Clinton campaign would be much louder and much more aggressive.
The Obama campaign via surrogates has been quietly trying to put pressure on Clinton to get out. But they haven’t flexed the muscle I’m guessing the Clintons would have if their roles were reversed.
This is CDS (Clinton Derangement Syndrome) in its classic presentation. No offer of proof needed, after all Clinton's are without ruth.
OBAMA WINS THE TEXAS PRIMARY/CAUCUS PROCESS!!!

"If the Obama campaign prediction is accurate, that would give Obama a total five-delegate advantage over Clinton in the Texas primary/caucus contest".
Posted by tfitznc at March 30, 2008 09:24 AMOne wonders how p-dip makes it through the day without his head exploding, knowing that there are so many women in the world with so many ideas, attitudes and concerns. It's bad enough that we have our own opinions, eh, phidipides? Do we have to express them in public as well?

Uh, wrong on all counts. What the Senator and I have in common that matters is our gendered experience; she's not my preferred candidate; and it's spelled vagina.

Thanks for making my point.
