John McCain is truly illiterate when it comes to the economy, which is frightening considering how long he's been in Washington. As for his lobbyist connections, that's not shocking at least for me, it's been pretty well known. All of the remaining candidates have ties to lobbyists (despite all their protestations that they don't), its just a matter of which ones are the least damaging to us as Americans. Personally, I just think given where this country is, even if McCain didn't have ties to a single lobbyist, he would be a disaster for the economy and this country as president.
