Isn't it supposed to be a good thing that the Shiite-led gov't is cracking down on Shiite militias? Isn't this what we want? And don't we want them to take over and be self-sufficient? So it's bad that they didn't consult the US?

The militias of his allies he leaves alone, or incorporates into the "army". The goal of the current crackdown is to disrupt the Sadrist party so that it cannot win the "elections" that Emperor Cheney recently ordered to be undertaken.
McOld is a debilitated, foolish, hotheaded dimwit militarist---that is so apparent that it's simply incontrovertible. He can't be bothered with facts and information, just like his semi-retarded predecessor.
And he has appalling judgment, which he displays every single day. His fellow Repub senators have already blown the whistle on his uncontrollable rage and emotional/impulsive behavior, but it doesn't matter.
As a result of the split by the Dems, he's very likely going to win (despite his utter ignorance and stupidity) because most of the failed American electorate bases its "decision" on whether they "like" the candidate "personally", not on policies, intelligence or ability to communicate. And all the corporate MSM does is feed into this pinheaded idea.
