Truer words ever written.

And yet, I look down the page and eriposte has eleventy-two screeds that essentially argue for it - either pushing or pulling.

I guess I'm not quite as "up" on the political intrigue as many of your readers. Is the intent of your story to poke fun at Hillary supporters, because so many of them say they would vote for McCain over Obama compared to Obama voters saying they would vote McCain over Hillary?

Latest Time Poll: "Roughly a quarter of Clinton voters -- 26%, the poll found -- say they 'would be more likely' to vote for John McCain in the general election if Obama is eventually the Democratic nominee. By contrast, only 16% of Obama's backers report they would be likely to vote for McCain if Clinton emerged as the party's nominee."

Well, the ever-thoughtful Spike Lee has explained all that, dontcha know? Haven't you read his trenchant analysis? Us white folks are just racists. Plus, any black folks who still support Clinton are just nasty Toms.

Too bad this race didn't end after Iowa - that was the last time I felt good about it.

If you don't agree with Spike Lee's explanation, perhaps you have a better one?

How about, more of Obama's supporters are true Democrats who have stuck with the Party through thick and thin, whereas more of Hillary's supporters are cross-over voters who voted for The Worst President in History not once, but twice!

Or, Obama supporters are wise enough to discern how critical it is that we beat McWarMonger, whereas Hillary supporters don't recognize the threat he represents.

What's yours?

Balthus, he was describing you.

You just accused Clintonites of being DINO scum.
