Comments: More Chelsea Clinton

And Chelsea can claim 38 years of policy experience!

That's the great thing about dynastic politics. There's aways 2024!

Chelsea C is actually quite fabulous, IMO.

that was impressive

Chelsea Clinton for Secretary of State?

Posted by jwrjr at April 26, 2008 10:53 AM

Wow. She sure is something.

To me she comes off more sincere than her Mom and I like Mom.

Posted by jharp at April 26, 2008 10:59 AM

Hahaha. 38 years of experience? Maybe not; but I'd LOVE to see her in a debate with Obama. :-P

Simply heinous what they did to that sweet young girl, conforming her into a soulless automaton/playback machine for drooling dogma.

"Chelsea Clinton for Secretary of State?"

...I like Chelsea, but would it be fair to place her in a position where the bar has been raised so astronomically high by Rice?

ROFLMAO!!!

Jesus Christ!! I'm eating lunch here. Can you please give us a "cover the keyboard warning"!? Now I have to wipe a bunch of lobster off my screen.

She's really great. Very smart, very caring. They did a great job raising her.

Posted by at April 26, 2008 01:04 PM

You may be right. Compared to Rice, Chelsea is overqualified.

Posted by jwrjr at April 26, 2008 03:29 PM

She is brilliant; I had no idea.. hadn't seen her in action before this. Thanks so much for the post. Some major DNA in that one.

Well, where are all the typical disgusting Clinton-hating blogger boyz on this thread? I've just been waiting for them - anticipating their comments about Chelsea's boring concerns on women's issues and how she's deluded about her villainous mom, etc. No? Hmmm. Maybe a few more minutes, then.

Hell, why wait? Do what the others do and just make it up and claim we said it. You can get to your point much quicker and save some time that way. Make sure to include "sexist" and "misogyny" in your post. That really revs them up round these parts.

She uses those numbers with care to support her statements. I liked the pace of her talk. The pace made her discourse interesting and easy to follow.

Was that Frodo's BFF Sam leaning against the doorway and wearing a sportcoat?

Posted by JoeCHI at April 27, 2008 05:44 AM

I think she is to be admired for her poise and delivery. ON the other hand, she basically said "My Mom failed to get three important legislative things passed.", and that can be read in two ways==at least one of them not good.

Posted by gtash at April 27, 2008 07:19 AM

She is impressive.

Ok, imagine this is 2028 and she's running for president against Jenna Bush. Imagine the contortions the media will have to go through to make Jenna look good compared to her. How many Monica questions would Chelsea have to answer, do you suppose?

Even though I am a strong Obama supporter I have always been impressed by what a great job the Clintons did raising this young woman. She is a living example of the good judgement the Clintons show.

WOW! That Chelsea is one sharp girl. I'd love to see how far she could go in politics.
