Comments: Thin Ice

Drill the oil, eat the mammals.

I know, I know, this is "Science Daily" that said the stuff, but this is a good venue. The polar bears mainly hunt by ambush at air holes. The air holes are only productive if the sea ice has closed off air access for the seals. If the ice melts, the seals can grab a fresh breathe anywhere. So long to the watchful ambush. The polar bears will starve to extinction.

The human race is losing the race against global warming, and from all the reports I've been reading, at an accelerated rate.

The human race is losing the "race" (which it organized) and it thinks it doesn't care.

The Arctic animals will be among the biggest losers, but millions of species will be extinguished forever as the planet becomes a totally different place.

And contemptible psychopaths like onar think it won't matter to them. Hopefully onar's children and grandchildren will know his sick views, and someday spit in his ugly face.

All a righteous person can hope is that the vile selfish human suffers mightily as well, and that all our pinhead concerns about the global "economy" and endless shit materialism become dark comedy in the face of rising seas, inundated coasts, and massively changed rainfall patterns worldwide---and especially BushAmerica, the hateful principal author of the catastrophe.
