Comments: The Candidates on Oregon

Wow! Obama has a plan document. Question is, has he read it? It's amazing how many times when specific questions come up about Obama's positions people are told to go to the website and read about it. Well, that's great. You can't give a lot of detail in a short answer to a question. But somehow with Obama I'm always left with the impression that he doesn't know the answer. There's an aswer on his website, prepared by someone else, but he doesn't have an answer. You never get that feeling with Hillary. She really knows her stuff. She can give you detailed answers anytime anyplace. With Obama it feels more like, he'll have his people come up with something.

P.S. Also check out Paul Krugman's latest: "Party of Denial".

If Krugman is attacking Obama, that means it's Friday. He seems to always praise Obama mid-week, like when he panned Hillary on her "Tax Holiday" proposal. The man is a calendar.

How did we all miss National Prayer Day, sponsored by Hillary's little reich-wing religious group? Ollie North was the speaker! He's one christian Hillary and her supporters can get behind. Pray for us Ollie...and pray for the overthrow of democratically elected governments worldwide. jesus is only weeping because he is so proud of you!

Forget Rev. Wright. Forget Rezko (people already have apparently), forget sniper fire, forget experience vs. change. It's this detail oriented stuff, and Hillary's command of details and deep understanding of the issues, that makes me like her so much and think she'd make a great president. That's always been the bottom line for me.

Over the months of this campaign, I've liked Obama less and less, and sometimes I've liked Hillary less. But her knowledge and intelligence never fail to impress me. She'd make a great president. It's unfortunate that she blew it after super-Tuesday and it's unfortunate that voters are only getting to know Obama now, when it's nearly too late to do anything about it.

oh noes, Obama referred to Pennsylvania's veterans instead of Oregon's!

Pandering on the gas tax to eke out some votes in NC & IN sounds a lot like the clowns in charge now.

How's that showing command of an issue?

Hillary is being very specific and I believe Obama needs to get to that point as well. I think she can be as specific as she wants, it probably won't get her a win in Oregon. Character matters to a lot of people here.
