Here is the target, kids.
Posted by phidipides at May 7, 2008 02:34 PMHeh, funny video - are those guys a real band?
And yes, Turkana, it is utter insanity. Bush is just running out the clock, trying to get people to worry about him attacking Iran, and it's not going to happen. I'd look at what his other hand's doing, that's where the real problems are, and you can bet it's stealing more of the treasury before he runs away.

I hope you are right Coyote but my nose tells me he is going to forment some incident to at least fire a couple of missiles at some suspected something or other.....I'll never back away from the thought that these pukes are oil guys and the only way to keep the price rising is to have the #4 world producer embroiled in a conflict....a conflict that is sure to last well into the next presidency.
This bunch taught me a long time ago to think the worst at all times....things are never what they seem or are purported to be.
These are the greediest of the greedy and will stop at nothing in their attempt to steal everything including that which is bolted to the floor.
Posted by Goyo at May 7, 2008 04:12 PMSociopaths are always unpredictable, and we have two sitting in the WH.
Posted by Judith at May 7, 2008 04:27 PMSo Bush meeting at a table with the Iranian leadership and throwing up on them ala Pops is going to help us how?
That video was very disrespectful of our beloved Arizona Senator who, mock him if you will, knows how to dump a first wife for a much younger and much richer babe, if she gets into a serious auto accident that leaves her 5 inches shorter.
And speaking of 5, when is the Keating 5 scandal going to surface again?
Posted by TIKI AL at May 7, 2008 04:37 PMtiki,
there's a statute of limitations on mccain's scandals mattering to the corporate media. what obama's mere acquaintance ayers did forty years ago is more important than what mccain personally did twenty years ago.
Posted by Turkana at May 7, 2008 04:42 PMGoyo, there's no doubt Cheney wants to do something to mess it up worse than it already is (if that's possible, and yes, it is), and Bush is never more apt to want something than when he's told he can't have it, but it'll be a blatantly illegal act to lob some missiles at Iran, now. The IAEA is still working with Iran; just today, El Baradai met with US "diplomats" and UnderSecState John Rood who was apparently asked by the IAEA to tone down the rhetoric and allow the process to continue. He was also asked why the IAEA was still not allowed to look at that site in Syria bombed by Israel a while back, and gave no answers. Clearly, the Bushies are playing games, but more clearly, they don't have any more clout behind it, so the world is kinda letting Bush know what's going on, and that it's best if he just cools his heels and lets the adults handle things from now on. Whether they take the advice, the money, and run is still in the air, but I figure the money alone will win out. The don't want to leave under indictment, I'm guessing, when they could go live like kings in Bahrain like Michael Jackson. No one tells you "no" there if you have enough money.

...I have it on good authority that a certain diddle boy is holding out for a preadolescent pre-nup.
TIKI, I doubt they'll bring Rove along. He's been abandoned to "advise" McCain, and when that house o' cards crumbles, he'll slink away and wait for the next opportunity to be the brain of a dimwit puppet.
