"Funny how badly Bush's little war turned out."

For those most affected by it - Iraq and its people - it hasn't finished "turning out" and will not for generations. The adverse effects will go on and on for decades if not more than a century after Americans have forgotten all about it.

Seven of Six, Jenna (nor her new husband) couldn go to Iraq because she was too busy planning a "small wedding" of 300 guests and 14 brides maids. No time for such common endeavors.

NSA Spying on All Internet Traffic

Well, well, guess what I discovered in my Mom's backyard.

In a pivotal network operations center in metropolitan St. Louis, AT&T has maintained a secret, highly secured room since 2002 where government work is being conducted, according to two former AT&T workers once employed at the center.

The former AT&T workers said that only government officials or AT&T employees with top-secret security clearance are admitted to the room, located inside AT&T's facility in Bridgeton. The room's tight security includes a biometric "mantrap" or highly sophisticated double door, secured with retinal and fingerprint scanners. The former workers say company supervisors told them that employees working inside the room were "monitoring network traffic" and that the room was being used by "a government agency" meaning NSA.

In spring 2002, the company moved WorldNet employees to a different part of the building and sealed up the room, plastering over the window openings and installing steel double doors with no handles for moving equipment in and out of the room. The company then installed the high-tech mantrap, which has opaque Plexiglas-like doors that prevent anyone outside the room from seeing clearly into the mantrap chamber, or the room beyond it. Both former workers say the mantrap drew attention from employees for being so high-tech.

JudithPrime, All is well for now. The newly retired, wingnut sister from Tampa came in for a little help. At 83 she is doing surprisingly good. I thought she was a goner. This is the 3rd time she has gotten pneumonia in 5 years.

I had them scrub the duct system, replace a bunch of shit in the Air Conditoning. Seems she gets it right whent the first usage of air conditioning starts.

I've read your posts and thank you for your concern. Reading is about as much as I have time for now days. Read what I can... a quick reply... then I'm off. I do get to stay up on news from her computer.

Happy Mother's Day!
And yes, to those caring for their moms too!
SOS-I don't keep up with the threads like I used to but you have my best wishes in relation to your mom.
