They don't want to fund Bush's Quagmire, but they refuse to begin to withdraw from it. Looks like they just don't wanna "think" about it anymore.

Quite simply, you lied.
Nancy Pelosi voted AGAINST the passage of the $162.5 Billion spending bill as well.
As you said: "The vote was a GOP protest against the tactics of Democrats, who added hard-to-veto domestic spending to the measure and bypassed the committee process."
The "hard-to-veto" amendment included one with a time line, for withdrawl, guranteed to kill thousands of troops and to be vetoed.
The other amendment was for expansion of VA benefits, which I am totally in favor of too.
So it was anything but a "hard-to-veto" Amendment which caused the bill to fail.
As for B. Hussein Obama and his "Present" penchant, the Republicans have NOT voted 186 times that way thus avoiding taking a position on any relevant legislation.
Truth sure is an evasive thing over here in the left fringe.
