"The Bush Administration criminals cannot be allowed to get away with it."
They will be.
And by the way, did anyone besides me watch Boston Legal last night? They often really do hammer at the U.S. government, but what I loved about last night's episode is the way they very specifically brought out the fact that the Bush regime is really only continuing a lengthy tradition of war mongering, torture, rendition, and violation of human and civil rights.
Liberals just love to pretend to themselves that the Bush regime's criminal behaviour is something unique in American history, and that if only you can elect a Democrat America will return to being the shining bastion of all that is good that you know it always was prior to 2000.
Think again, folks. It was under Bill Clinton's administration that "extraordinary rendition" became de rigeur, and don't even get me started on Clinton's record in Iraq.

The above comment sounds a lot like the standard "but, but, but Clinton did it, too" bs.
"don't", not "dfon't"

Ummmm - yeah. That's the point.
"That makes the detainers just as bad as you are accusing the detainees of being."
No one here, as far as I know, has accused the "detainees" (i.e. the prisoners) of being bad at all. In fact, most of them haven't done anything except be in the wrong place at the wrong time, or piss off the wrong people.

Pardon me, but it is not bs. The United States has a very long history of torture, assassination, war mongering, aggression, and plenty of other international and war crimes. Bill Clinton is one of many criminal U.S. presidents. Even the saintly Jimmy Carter committed his share. This crap did not begin with George W. Bush, and it will not end with George W. Bush.
