I cannot watch all of this, it's revolting beyond belief. I stopped very quickly at Chris Mathews "can you get a little closer to the camera?" Utterly despicable.

I have in my pocket a withering post on print journalism, but no matter how many times we document this filth and moronic stupidity it never stops. Mathews is now somewhat a reverse-celebrity, I hear, so much of a loathsome freak he's valuable for all the attention. The son of a bitch certainly not has lost his job, when he should have been fire the second he so offensively asked her to pose, God what a pig.

[shakes head] These journalists of ours will drive one batty, I don't see how many bloggers consistently watch TV news, I really don't.

Thanks for posting this. I had been under the (mistaken) impression that the cries of sexism had been overblown. I see that's because I don't watch TV, and stand corrected.

ugh

Gee, thanks sdh. A little freaking late to the party.

Sheesh. Overblown. Give me a break. I hate progressives now as much as I used to hate conservatives.

Thank you Turkana. You made me cry. Not good.

Come the revolution I want these gasbags offed immediately. The video is especially effective because the breadth and depth of the clips shows just how awful these people are.

Other than Stewart, Colbert, and CSPAN I don't do politics on TV either. I have to say that was an eye opener.

What's pathetic is that the broad majority of these disgusting smears is not owned by someone at Faux News. Oh sure, they played their chauvinistic role well, but Tweety is easily the King of the Turds on this particular topic. What a jack-ass.

This is all truly disgusting, but not surprising given the low lifes that the corporate media puts on television.
Fortunately, President Obama will help reduce this sexism to a huge extent.

This makes a strong case that the need for real change starts with our media. If you don't like it, boycott it and let it be known that you are boycotting it.

Kill your television.

the rest will fall in the revolution ;)

So David Shuster's suspension wasn't enough. Are you saying you want the man FIRED?

Posted by at June 6, 2008 07:54 PM

I'd love to see Tweety fired, along with Pumpkin and Hounddog Face and a quite a few others. It's time for some real change, and that BEGINS with the media. Make it a new broom that sweeps clean. STOP CATERING TO THEM!

Turkana I wish I coudl say this is a surprise...Chris Matthews is appalling and what makes it worse totally clueless of the bile he spews. To me the worse offenders are Abrahams for allowing him licence to basically act as he pleases. Both HRC and Obama have faced unreal bigotory and prejudice. If Mccain got a mere sprinkle of the same treatment he wouldnt be a serious candidate for county clerk. In UK (yes press has flaws) Fox news would be forced to drop the news org label, Matthews, Oreilly, Beck, Dobbs and many other shead wankstains would be fired on the spot.

Then you need to read Obama's policy paper on media and media ownership. It's quite well developed. It is past time to undo what Ray-Gun and the Clinton's did.

This should go out to ALL network CEO's and
programming executives. Disgusting!

We didn't quite break the mother of all glass ceilings this time, but as Hillary said this morning, "There are 18 million cracks in it."

Sylvester the cat to Tweety: "You're dischpicable!"
