Comments: And So It Begins

Just In: Scotty McClellan has just accepted an invitation to testify Under Oath regarding Plamegate and Rove, and Bush's and Cheney's part in it to Conyer's Judiciary committee. This will, I guarantee, cause serious heartburn at the White House.

And So It Begins

And so it does. Don't stand too close to a republi-con. When they get the shit slapped out of them you may get a little on you.

Our failed democracy CANNOT have a presidential campaign be about the "issues" for many reasons, the chief being that the Repub party hasn't the slightest interest in such a thing (for obvious reasons) and the MSM has no ability to "cover" (ha-ha) such a thing.

And I doubt many members of Pinhead Majority have the any interest in "watching" such a thing---they want All Horse Race, All the Time. The more meaningless, scandal-ridden and content-free, the better.

So bring out the industrial strength shit hoses and turn 'em on full blast----that's all that we're capable of understanding now. Tier One, Tier Two, Tier Infinity, who cares.

Whoever sprays the most foul contemptible, lying shit on the most TV screens "wins". That's usually the Repub, and the more McGoober talks about "civility" the more you know he's already "approved" a level of putrid filth that can't be imagined. Because we're always "progressing" as a nation!

"The Republicans always make it personal, because they can't win on the issues."

It sounds like someone is getting ready to chant the mantra "we was robbed" sometime in November.

Hell, the press likes McCain so much, they don't even really try to hide it.

Fortunately, unlike Kerry and Gore, Obama appears to be ready to fight on all fronts:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/jun/10/barackobama.johnmccain?gusrc=rss&feed=networkfront

This is written in neutral-point-of-view style, and makes it sound like both candidates are innocent victims of shadowy nasty people who start these rumors. It does say the obvious, that the rumors about Obama are the worst yet encountered.

What it doesn't say is that the rumors about Obama are paid for and orchestrated by right wing think tanks like Heritage Foundation -- heck, the anti-christ email started on townhall.com. Or that this has been part of Republican Strategy since Karl Rove left the College Republicans.
