Comments: Letter From Texas

Nice to see that Paradox. Sorry about the pale hanging over your group. Not really, but that's okay. Try to look up our friends at the Burntorangereport.com. I'm very sure they're there. Tip a Lone Star for me tonight. Enjoy you time in Texas. Austin is such a nice place to visit.

That something is called 'despair.'

Paradox, others: Welcome to Austin. We truly hope you enjoy and have a great conference.

While in Austin try BBQ at various places. There is good Tex-Mex also. For BBQ a real good family-style serving place with brisket, ribs, sausage and chicken is the Salt Lick, just south of the city. Directions are online. They serve the meat and sides boarding house style. You will smell like smoke when you get back to the Hilton.

Pile a bunch in a car and do Salt Lick at least once.

If you need help, call me in Austin at 512.300.6990. Robert in Austin

"How far along is W's statue?"

You mean the one Bush is having constructed at the Crawford ranch to worship himself?

"How far along is W's statue?"

Last I saw the Iraqis were busily whacking it with shoes.

Mary's from Los Gatos and you've mentioned before that you're off the 17 north of Los Gatos, (if I'm not mistaken near Lexington Res.) and you guys have never gotten together for lunch? How sad!

Really that part of West Santa Clara county is my old stomping grounds. I went to Prospect High. Lived in Los Gatos for years, my brother in law and his family is from there. Never could understand why Los Gatos High and Saratoga weren't in the same district as Prospect and Westmont.

Mild tangent... have fun in Texas Paradox. If I had to be in one town in Texas it'd be Austin.

Lovely to hear from you Paradox.

I've been streaming it but that is not at all the same.

Liked the keynote address this morning. 9% - and speaking directly to Pelosi too.

Would have loved to have seen her face and heard her response.
