Comments: Kucinich Fighting The Good Fight For History

I signed it, but if she didn't read the articles, why would she look at the petition?

Signed. Fucking A.

I signed, too. Not that it'll do much, but hey, it's always worth a try!

World War I was fought to end all wars.

I collected thousands of signatures to impeach Nixon so no president would even think about power abuse again. (D'Oh! Fuck you, Ford)

To qoute PP&M, "When will they ever learn, when will they eh...ver learn?"

quote. (fucking dyslexia!)

Think of the message it would have sent if Ford had thrown Nixon to the criminal justice system for a fair trial and then had him executed for treason. Fuck Ford. I wish there was a hell.

Wow, are liberals really this desperate this late in the game?

Wow, are liberals really this desperate this late in the game?

I'm neither a liberal nor am I desperate. I simply believe a president should be punished for his crimes against the people.

Clinton got his because he lied about a BJ. But lying about WMDs is somehow okay?

This is historic. Articles of Impeachment have been presented. Cuff him.

The Right has now successfully defended its serial lawbreaking, constitution perverting "president" and "VP" and the Dems have cravenly backed away from demanding a public national accounting of Bushco's (openly admitted) crimes. That a major American party could think this a political "necessity" is repulsive---of course the Repubs' celebration of the executive lawbreaking is even more morally loathsome. But we expected that from them.

By impeaching Clinton and defending Cheney to the death, the Right has made a mockery of the constitution and shown it can no longer function in this age of corporate/conesrvative Noise Machines.

The republic has been dealt a mortal blow and will not be able to be repaired, to the apelike hooting and grunting of the constitution-hating "conservatives". There are some on the Left who would defend the republic as created by the constitution even as the criminal Bushco shreds the documents and burns the evidence, but they are not numerous enough to have any power, especially when neither of the two major parties take the situation seriously.

The Founders would have absolutely no difficulty in determinibg that the republic they created in the constitution has been completely lost by this committed conservative defense of lawbreaking and sickening Dem cowardice. And that by refusing to impeach and try Bush and Cheney in such circumstances the Dems have had a major hand in the destruction of the country.

But then, the Founders would be disgusted with so much of BushAmerica, from its militarism to it corruption, that they would run puking from the whole revolting spectacle.

Not much more to say other than Thanks, Conservatives! The constitution had a long run, now we are operating under its ghostly "formality", which sort of resembles the old document, with its soul exorcised.

The citizens of empires ultimately lose their liberties, as will we. Cheney wiped his ass with the constitution and conservatives cheered---the epitaph of the Bush Era. What the destruction of the constitution heralds, no one can foretell.

Thank you Dinelli, for the link. I'll sign though I'm embarrassed to be an American nowadays.

Thanks, Conservatives!

It's not "conservatives" that did this. Ron Paul is a "conservative" too. So is the Libertarian party.

You like to assign group names. "Liberal", "Conservative", etc. How about "Fascists"? That's who did the damage here.

Posted by MaskedVigilante at August 11, 2008 02:18 PM

Which party do you think has sympathy for what you call "fascists", and the most fascists in it? Which political "movement"? Americans who support Bushco call themselves "conservatives", not fascists.

Do you sympathize with those calling themselves "conservative"? Is McSame a "conservative" or a "fascist"? What label does he use when describing himself?

Until the current label "conservative" is destroyed as an acceptable brand as a result of the crimes done in its name, it will continue to ruin the nation, the few Ron Paul marginalia notwithstanding.

Yeah, that's a good point.

Clinton didn't get his. And sure, if you aren't under oath.
