Considering that the Mad King's -idiot son of George the Lame- Secret Service, CIA and Military are putting up the money and coordinating the effort with the City of Denver I doubt means the Dems have much of a hand in this. The protest groups at the site (Democrats) on Friday made it clear that Dems find Bush's Gitmo on the Platte reprehensible. That the Gitmo on the Platte comes from republi-cons in this administration is not surprising. And why would the republi-cons want to repress certain activities? You know, activities like protesting the Iraq war, protesting a US war on Iran, protesting government spying on the people, protesting the economy, protesting healthcare (sorry, but Hillarians need to know it isn't just about them). Why would the Feds want to suppress these protests? Words beggar all description.
We'll have to wait and see if they do the same thing in MPLS.
Sure will. It won't be Tienanmen Square on the Platte, as in Denver, but it'll be there.

I have a very politically connected, very hard-line GOP relative in Denver who told me months ago that there was great concern from Police and Denver Govt that the Democrats would riot in Denver, tear up the place. Now we have a portable prison. Connecting the dots tells me that somebody has a plan here. And the plan is to disrupt Obama's nomination with some kind of, well, riot. Real or made to order.
