Do not forget NBC (great ratings!), McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Kodak, GE, Johnson and Johnson, VISA, Bank of America, Wal-Mart, Yahoo, and all the sponsoring companies of the Olympics. All these companies have much blood on their hands. All these companies have helped China kill thousands of Tibetans and put many more thousands of Chinese and Tibetans in gulag-type jails and 'reeducation.'

However, most Americans would rather watch GE owned NBC’s 24/7 Chinese propaganda disguised as a sporting event, on their wide-screen Chinese made Plasma TVs

Our personal relations with China these days remind one of the battle between Low Prices and corporate indecency when dealing with WalMart, except that we tend to be more aware when NBC decides which way we should lean--and we either do, or resist. The path of least resistance runs through some strange neighborhoods.

Yeah, kinda like you and the rest of the US avoiding the Israel disaster upon the Arab-Israelis.

Don't talk bad about Israel, cause they're close to oil.

The protesters are probably in detention rather than prison. The free Tibet thing is getting old and it cannot possibility happen without a war. The protesters should ask for something thing specific such as the ability to vote in Tibet or something meaningful.
