She was one of the really good ones, wasn't she? How sad for her family and friends. She'll be missed.
Posted by iamcoyote at August 21, 2008 05:20 AMSo sudden and so young. Very sad.

Posted by Harry at August 21, 2008 07:42 AMStephanie goes to heaven and is met at the gate. St Peter looks at her and says "Shhhhh!" and motions for her to follow. They walk quietly along a lovely path and come to a massive stone building that is 5 city blocks square and 10 stories high. It has no windows and only one door, with signs posted all around saying "Quiet! No Noise Zone." They pass the building and come to a huge outdoor park. As far as the eye can see there are children running and laughing. There are carnival rides and music venues where all the greats from the past are playing. There are open air restaurants serving any food you want. People are talking and laughing, and in the distance she can see an ocean with surfers and a great sand beach where families and friends are together and happy. MLK walks up and says "Stephanie, good to see you! Have a beer." Stephanie takes the beer and says, "This is great! But what was that ugly building I passed where we had to be so quiet?" MLK relies, "That? Oh, that's just republi-con heaven. They think they're the only ones up here."
