Comments: American Research Group Poll Shows Signs Of GOP Slippage For Bush

I guess then we will have an April surpise to look forward to...some sort of something where the Merkan sheeple will feel compelled to rally around the flag...

you know this has me wondering what would it take for the majority of Americans to rally around Bush again like they did 11 Sept 2001...

see, I'm wondering because I am one of those that thinks another Al Q attack in one or more of our cities hurts Bush more than helps...

so, if that is the case, what would it take?

(This is sort of a rhetorical question, because while I really don't know the answer, I do think there is one thing that could happen whereby most people would give Bushco the benefit of the doubt and say, lets go get the -------!)

But, but . . . Steve, my man -- you forgot to include David Brooks "Popular Wartime Preznit" talking points for tonight's NewsHour. And with "warm fuzzy lap puppy" Tom Oliphant subbing for Mark Shields, this is Brooksies big chance to put all this nonsense behind us.

Somewhere in these numbers there HAS to be good news for the Bushies. Somewhere -- something; it has to be there.

Ohh, . . . There it is!!! 81% of Republicans support the Glorious Leader!!! And even more significant, 5% of Democrats peel off from Kerry, when the Nader option is presented to them -- and ZERO per cent of GOPer's support Ralphie!!!

Brooksie has what he needs to deliver the bad news to us Democrats -- GOP support for Bush is MUCH more solid than Democratic support for Kerry. I guess we should give up now, and start planning for the coronation.

And when your one-way ticket to the Bergen-Belsen-on-the-Pecos Old Democrats Retirement Home shows up, be sure to get to the departure station on time -- you wouldn't want to have to sit at the back of the cattle car.

Re the above: if it was a small attack I think it would quickly be forgotten, and if it was really big then Bush might get blamed for letting it happen.

The tide turned when Bush lost his credibility. When you lose your credibility the spin won't work anymore. They also need to keep Cheney in his bunker and out of site, he just won't give up on the debunked WMD/ mobile bio labs story. Every time Cheney talks they have to shift gears to damage control.

Every time Cheney talks they have to shift gears to damage control.

The way things are going, it looks like Damage Control is the only gear they have.

What are the 5% who call themselves Democrats for BushCo thinking?? Just what could make that 5% think they'll be better off with BushCo.....try as I may, I can't think of one thing. We will need that 5%.

T2:

What are the 5% who call themselves Democrats for BushCo thinking?

Think Zell Miller from Georgia -- DINO (Dem in name only).

All:
There is an interesting point with some Repubicans voting Kerry reaching 20%. Do you think that today's little announcement about how the Medicare actuary was threatened with his job if he let his projection reach the public could affect those folks? I mean, now it is known that this administration will lie to everyone to get its way, how could they look at Bush with anything but contempt?

Commemorating the War

How should Kerry denote March 20, 2003 and the people whose lives were lost by the Bush cabal of chickenhawks and knaves and pussbag liars?
