Is this for real??

new mccain ad attacks the Obama kids

Anyone have a link to the ad? I hope people see this and are totally disgusted.

OK, sorry, it's a satire. What's it say about McCain that I actually believed it?

The DNC's backslappin' fest in Denver rings hollow and specious, and hollow again, and it sounded and looked and sounded again like a Republican convention.

Hillary is a great actress. The whole speech was canned and I don't blame her supporters for feeling betrayed.

I love Obama.

jonny mac has no issues but negativity and spin. i love that the media is calling him on his continued POW references. no health care plan, no economic plan, and no plan for iraq, except more war-- yet, he was a POW so all is well. 7 houses, well for a while i only had a cell, no table, no chair, no nuttin... now the dems are not only attacking this, but his temperment as well. bout damn time...

not only me, but the daily kos thinks the same thing...

"You’re the Republican candidate for president and you want to fix the country's problems even though you don’t know much about the economy, you don’t know how to use the internet, you don’t know how many houses you own or what kind of car you drive, you admit you don’t think clearly when you’re tired, you make frequent gaffes on foreign policy, you think offshore drilling is a short-term solution to high gas prices, you support torture and keeping the Guantanamo prison open, you make rash decisions and statements from which you have to quickly backtrack, you have an explosive temper on a hair trigger, your idea of health care reform is 'wear more sunscreen,' you're for stem cell research except when it's done on stem cells because you consider them all American citizens, and you voted to support the policies of the worst president ever 100 percent of the time this year?"
"Trust me, my friends. I was a POW."

how exactly will jonny mac be an effective leader with a bomb first mentality???

CG: I have a ponzi scheme you can get in on for a mere $50,000.

"I love Obama" ...then why don't you help him get elected by not posting negative non-productive posts which help the GOP's talking points.

Talk about beating a dead donkey.

Thanks--I'm in! Lol, I know I'm gullible, but seriously, I questioned it, but really believed it could be true. That's how highly I think of McCain. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he called Obama's kids brats. He called his own wife a c*nt--a word I can't even stand to type.

Why did that law enforcement official dismiss the meth-head snipers as merely "aspirational"?

20% hilary voters never voting obama, many stating (according to the msm) they will vote for j mac, is hard to accept. without talking points, can someone tell my how j mac is good for women's rights, family values, kitchen table issues, or equality in pay???

vote for the man who called a wife a c*nt vs. the ticket that has the sponsore of the violence against women act???

Posted by anthony at August 27, 2008 07:17 AM

Anthony, those voters are for Hillary 2012 and think Obama would be the same as McCain.

With due respect to all you Democrats, inspite of the Iraq debacle, Katrina mishandling, disastrous economic policies, I am sorry to say that Democrats are going to lose this election. The tone of the convention is not convincing that McCain is absolutely wrong for the country. Why all Democrats have to say that McCain is a war hero and has done a great service to the country. If so, why not elect him?

As we have seen in the Democratic controlled congress, there is no backbone to these Dems. They lose not because of ideas and issues but because they do not stand up and fight.

Bob in Pacifica- I suspect you know the answer to your question. Wait until the MN police catch a carload of black guys with sniper rifles headed toward the GOP/McCain acceptance speech- think they'll be dismissed as "yahoos"?

Posted by T2 at August 27, 2008 07:50 AM

Democratic Governor, Democratic Mayor, a US attorney, some crazy meth cooker looking for more attention drops Obama's name. How do you get more attention on your way to goiong to prison? Oh, I know, drop a candidates name, gets you FBI and Secret Service attention, maybe even some better grub. Oh and in Minnesota, the city has a Democratic mayor too. I'd expect the very same protection from him too.

suresh, I have to disagree with you on one thing - we cant win trashing a war hero or we are every bit as scummy as the GOP was in 2004.

I think refusing to go there is a good idea. But if we were fighting, as you say, we wouldnt have to even consider it.

we cant win trashing a war hero

Sure you can. If you point out the inconsistencies and outright lies in his POW story. If you call him Songbird at every opportunity. As long as he's going to put up "POW" as his answer for everything, you should be bashing him on it.

It worked with Rudy 9/11.

You mean like the "McCong canary"?
